The Center for Online Learning (COL) advances academic excellence by partnering with faculty to enhance the design, development, and delivery of online, blended, and traditional courses and to continually strengthen the quality of online learning by supporting accessible, inclusive, and engaging course design. We do so through robust instructional design, quality assurance training and mentoring, evidence-based pedagogy, and recognition of excellence in teaching.

We support organizational excellence by responding to the evolving educational needs of our learning community in innovative and dynamic ways, with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Through a strong commitment to our students and faculty, we provide ongoing resources, training, and technical support for our educational technology.

We cultivate strategic partnerships to maximize student success by identifying emerging tools and future trends in educational technology, sharing resources, and collaborating with educational technology providers to evaluate digital tools and learning systems.
